Some post offices keep a Self-Service Kiosk in the lobby that stays accessible longer than the retail counter, letting you buy postage or drop off pre-paid packages without waiting for staffed hours (worth checking for on a Saturday afternoon or before Monday morning). Not every location has one, and PO Box access is usually on its own schedule too, separate from retail hours.
